Retro Electric Kettle 1.7 L Cream

The Mecity Retro Electric Kettle holds 1.7 liters and runs at 1500 W. It suits households or offices that want fast boiling with a vintage look and a built-in temperature display.

Before ordering check power and space

Ensure a standard mains socket can supply 1500 W and that the 6.85 inch width fits your countertop. The kettle weighs 2.8 pounds when empty so the surface must support that plus a full load of water.

Double-wall stainless interior

A double-wall body keeps the exterior cool enough to touch while water contacts only 316L and 304 stainless steel plus food-grade silicone seals. The fully removable lid and wide opening make filling and cleaning straightforward day to day.

Should I choose the 1.7 litre capacity or a smaller version for daily use?

Only the 1.7 litre model is offered; it boils 500 ml in 2.2 minutes and the full 1.7 litres in 5.5 minutes, so it covers both single cups and family rounds.

What does the 1500 watt rating mean for actual boiling time on my worktop?

At 1500 watts the kettle brings 500 ml to a boil in 2.2 minutes, 1000 ml in 3.7 minutes and a full 1.7 litres in 5.5 minutes.
