What This Device Is

The MEDca Digital Ear Hearing Amplifier is a behind-the-ear personal sound device designed for adults who need amplified audio. It uses digital circuitry with adjustable volume and tone controls to enhance clarity. The package includes two amplifiers and three earplug sizes for either ear. It is not a medical hearing aid and does not connect to smartphones or other devices.

Installation And Common Issues

Each amplifier sits behind the ear with a tube and dome inserted into the canal; no tools or software are required. Choose the dome size that seals comfortably to avoid feedback whistling. The rechargeable units are placed in the included charging case overnight. Users sometimes insert the dome too shallowly, which causes squealing, or forget to charge nightly, leaving the device dead the next morning.

Key Specification For Fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the behind-the-ear form factor with interchangeable domes for either ear. This design fits most adult ear canals when the correct dome is selected. Buyers who need in-the-canal invisibility, Bluetooth streaming, or a prescription-grade medical device will not be served by this product.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the digital circuitry and volume control are functioning after I put the amplifiers on?

Turn each unit on, adjust the volume wheel until speech sounds clear, and verify the golden receiver produces amplified sound without distortion in either ear.

Which accessories are included in the package and what must I supply myself?

The pair of behind-the-ear amplifiers, three earplug sizes, and the rechargeable system are included; no extra items are required for basic operation.

Since the listing describes a single pair with multi-colour finish, how do I choose the right version for my needs?

Only one version is offered — a rechargeable BTE pair with digital volume and tone control — so select this model if those features match your requirements.
