What It Is

The MEDca rechargeable BTE hearing amplifiers come as a silver pair designed for personal sound amplification. They sit behind the ear with a bendable earline for a secure, comfortable fit and are described as nearly invisible and lightweight for daily wear.

Upgrade Path

These amplifiers replace disposable-battery models by providing a USB rechargeable dock that delivers all-day operation on a single charge. The jump is worthwhile for users who want to avoid the recurring cost and hassle of replacing small button cells.

Sustained Use

Volume control is simple to adjust during extended wear and the digital circuitry applies background noise reduction and cancellation tuned to speech frequencies. The lightweight construction and secure earline help maintain comfort and consistent performance throughout the day.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box to charge the silver BTE hearing amplifiers?

The set includes a USB charging dock and a hard plastic carrying case for the pair of rechargeable behind-the-ear amplifiers.

How do I attach the amplifiers to my ears, and what step is often missed?

Hook each amplifier behind the ear and insert the bendable earline into the ear canal; the step users miss is gently shaping the earline first so it follows the natural curve of the ear for a secure, comfortable fit.

When will the internal rechargeable batteries need replacing, and how is it done?

The sealed lithium-ion cells are not user-replaceable; after several years when runtime drops noticeably, the whole amplifier pair is replaced rather than serviced.
