Medeco Maxum Grade 1 Deadbolt

The Medeco Maxum 11-R604-605-00 is a Grade 1 single-cylinder tubular deadbolt built for commercial and heavy-duty residential doors. It uses the high-security Original 00 keyway with a six-pin tumbler cylinder that resists picking and unauthorised key duplication. The bright brass finish suits apartments, retail outlets and multi-family units where consistent quality is required.

Solid Brass Construction and Standard Mounting

Solid brass components deliver anti-drill and anti-pry protection while meeting ANSI/BHMA A156.30 and UL 437 cylinder listings. The 2-3/4 inch backset and 1 inch faceplate fit standard door preparations with a 2-1/8 inch crossbore and 1 inch edge bore. Installation covers door thicknesses from 1-3/8 to 2-1/2 inches without modification.

Mechanical Operation Without Power Draw

As a purely mechanical deadbolt it draws no electricity and produces no fan or motor noise during use. The cylinder turns smoothly on the six-pin tumbler mechanism, and the bolt throws positively into the strike. There are no thermal considerations, making it suitable for any interior or exterior door where reliable, maintenance-free locking is needed.
