The Medline MDS3001PLUS is an automatic digital monitor supplied with an adult cuff for arms 22-30 cm and a large adult cuff for arms 30-42 cm. It stores up to 90 readings and shows the average of the last three measurements. A colour-coded scale beside the LCD helps interpret systolic, diastolic and pulse values. Batteries and a carrying case are included.

Insert the four included AA batteries, select the correct cuff and wrap it snugly on the upper arm. Press the start button; the device inflates to a customised level and displays results in seconds. The most common issue is an inaccurate reading caused by a loose cuff or arm movement during inflation; the on-screen error indicator flags most of these events.
