230° Wide Beam Headlamp Pair

The _Mega Brand TG-TD16002 headlamp set includes two rechargeable LED units, each producing 1200 lumens through a COB strip that covers a 230° field of view. The wide beam lights the entire peripheral area without head movement, while side XPE emitters add focused spot lighting for tasks such as camping, fishing, hiking or emergency repairs.

Installation and Common Issues

Each unit weighs 0.3 pounds and secures with an adjustable silicone headband that fits adults and hard hats; charging uses the supplied USB-C cables and the built-in lithium-ion cell runs for up to 10 hours. The motion sensor enables touch-free on/off with a wave of the hand, even while gloved, and a three-second long press on the power button forces an immediate shutdown. Users sometimes find the sensor triggers accidentally when brushing past branches, and the six-mode cycle can feel dense until the two-button layout is memorised.

Suitable Uses and Limitations

The pair suits outdoor enthusiasts and homeowners who want wide-angle illumination plus a focused spot option in a lightweight, water-resistant package. Buyers who need a throw distance beyond the wide flood pattern, a helmet-mount system other than the included headband, or a single high-output unit rather than a twin pack should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 230° wide beam and 1200 lumen output are working after I charge the headlamp?

Charge each unit via the USB-C cable until the indicator shows full, then press the power button to cycle through COB high and XPE high modes; the flood should span your full peripheral view and the spot should reach the rated distance.

What comes in the package and what must I supply myself?

The box contains two headlamps, two USB-C charging cables and two user manuals; the lithium-ion cells are built in, so no separate batteries are needed.

There is only one model listed — how do I choose the right version?

The single SKU TG-TD16002 delivers 1200 lumens, 230° COB flood, XPE spot, red night-vision and SOS strobe, plus motion-sensor control; select it if that feature set matches your needs.
