Jumbo Vacuum Storage Bags

MEIQIHOME MQ12J bags use a home vacuum cleaner to compress bulky items such as winter coats, comforters and pillows. The double zipper and triple seal valve lock air out for long-term storage. Each pack contains twelve jumbo bags made from nylon.

Practical Limits Of Vacuum Compression

Compression works best on soft, air-filled materials like bedding and clothing; rigid or already-dense items will not shrink significantly. A standard household vacuum hose is required to operate the valve. The bags are not suited for sharp objects that could puncture the nylon.

Upgrade From Single-Zip Or Non-Valve Bags

The double zipper and triple seal valve replace single-zip designs that tend to leak over time. The jump is worth it when you need items to stay compact for months in a loft, garage or suitcase. Buyers who only store items for a few weeks may not need the extra sealing security.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 12" bags and other sizes for my bedding?

The 12" jumbo bags fit bulky items like comforters and winter coats. Each bag measures 10 x 8 x 2.5 inches when packed, so select based on the volume of bedding or clothing you need to compress.

What does the 80% space-saving claim mean when I use these at home?

Using a household vacuum cleaner through the triple-seal valve removes air from clothing and linens, reducing their volume by up to 80%. The double zipper and rubber stopper keep the bags compressed for long-term storage.

How does the triple-seal valve work with a standard vacuum cleaner?

The valve accepts a standard vacuum hose. After sealing the double zipper 2-3 times, attach the hose, remove air, then tighten the valve cap without removing the rubber stopper to maintain an airtight seal.
