Sweat-Seal Brim for Active Use

The MELASA HDM-001 skull cap liner uses a double-layer brim to absorb sweat and wick moisture away from the eyes during intense activity. Made from 100% polyester micromesh, it fits adults of any gender and protects the scalp and neck from sunburn while running, cycling or working outdoors.

MicroMesh Breathability Limits

The micromesh fabric is lightweight, quick-drying and designed to reduce heat buildup under a helmet. However, the material provides no thermal insulation for cold conditions and the single-layer crown offers limited wind protection compared to fleece-lined alternatives.

Adjustable Strap Fit and Care

An adjustable rear strap lets the wearer set the tension for a secure, no-slip fit under bike, motorcycle or construction helmets. The cap is hand-wash only; machine washing or tumble drying can damage the elastic recovery and double-layer brim structure.

Questions about this item

Which style from the Choose Your Style list matches the Black Orange Print skull cap helmet liner?

The Cooling Skull Cap and Skull Cap Helmet Liner styles both correspond to the HDM-001 model described here.

How does the double-layer brim and micromesh fabric perform when worn under a motorcycle helmet?

The double-layer brim absorbs sweat and stops it dripping into your eyes, while the micromesh stays breathable and quick-drying so your head stays cool and the liner won't rub under the helmet.

What does the adjustable strap at the back actually secure?

The strap lets you tighten or loosen the fit around your head so the cap stays firm under a bike, motorcycle or construction helmet without slipping.
