9-Outlet 1U Rack PDU

The Melcan PCO850Power is a 1U rack-mountable power distribution unit with nine total outlets. Eight outlets sit on the rear panel and one on the front for convenient access. It delivers surge protection rated at 150 joules and 1200 amp peak impulse current. A 15 amp circuit breaker with push-to-reset function protects connected equipment.

Replaces Basic Strips

This unit replaces unfiltered power strips when equipment requires surge suppression and noise filtering in a rack environment. The jump is worthwhile when you need RFI and EMI elimination alongside spike protection for servers or network gear. It also adds a master power switch for complete shutdown during maintenance or energy saving.

Fits Standard 19-Inch Racks

The steel chassis and aluminum front panel mount in a 1U space using the 19.0-inch width. A 6-foot cord with 14 AWG conductors connects to a 115V 60Hz supply. The filter cleans incoming power for attached devices while the breaker guards against overloads. No external transformer blocks are needed.
