  • Dual redundant AC power supplies keep the switch running
  • Front-to-back airflow matches standard cold-aisle layouts
  • RoHS compliant and backed by a one-year limited warranty

32-Port 100GbE Switch

The Mellanox Spectrum-2 based switch delivers 32 QSFP28 ports in a 1U rack-mountable chassis. It runs Cumulus Linux on an x86 CPU and supports Layer 3 routing. Dual AC power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation.

Suitable For High-Density Aggregation

Data-centre operators needing 100GbE density with open-networking software will benefit from the 32-port configuration and standard-depth footprint. Environments requiring proprietary NOS or fewer than 32 ports should consider alternative platforms.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Front-to-back P2C airflow maintains stable temperatures during continuous line-rate traffic across all 32 ports. The 1.7-inch height and 22-inch depth fit standard racks while the 24.47 lb weight ensures mechanical stability under prolonged thermal cycling.

Questions about this item

What rack depth and rails are required to mount this 1U switch?

The switch is 22 inches deep and ships with a P2C rail kit for standard-depth racks; ensure your cabinet accommodates at least that depth and the included rails.

Can the dual AC power supplies in this switch share a single circuit or do they need separate feeds?

Two hot-swap AC power supplies provide redundancy; each draws independently so separate circuits are recommended but not mandatory for basic operation.

Which front-panel indicators confirm that all 32 QSFP28 ports have established 100GbE links after cabling?

Each port has a link/activity LED; solid green means a 100G link is up, blinking shows traffic, and off means no link — verify all 32 are solid green.
