Adds 100Gbps dual-port QSFP28 Ethernet over PCIe 3.0 x16 with ConnectX-5 EN and UEFI support
The Mellanox MCX516A-CCHT is a dual-port ConnectX-5 EN network interface card that delivers 100 Gbps Ethernet through two QSFP28 connectors. It installs in a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and includes a tall bracket for standard server chassis. UEFI support is enabled for modern boot environments.
This adapter fits servers that need twin 100 GbE uplinks for storage fabrics, clustering or high-performance computing. Systems without a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, or racks that only accept low-profile cards, cannot accommodate the tall bracket and x16 electrical width.
The decisive specification is the pair of QSFP28 cages rated for 100 Gbps each, providing two independent 100 GbE links from a single x16 slot. Buyers who need a different port count, a different connector type or a lower-speed Ethernet adapter should select another model.

The card provides two QSFP28 ports; transceivers and cables are not included and must be sourced to match your link distance and fibre type.
Select this dual-port model when you need two independent 100GbE links for redundancy or aggregate throughput; a single-port card suits simpler one-link deployments.
Each port can run at 100GbE line rate; the PCIe 3.0 x16 interface supplies sufficient bandwidth for both ports simultaneously without host-side bottleneck.
