230° Wide Beam Headlamp

The MEOELION 689-1 headlamp delivers a 230° wide beam with a 600 lumen output and a maximum lighting distance of 100ft. It features a built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery and USB-C charging. An integrated motion sensor allows hands-free on/off control by waving a hand within 4 inches of the receiver. The unit weighs between 2.47oz and 2.82oz and carries an IPX4 waterproof rating.

Motion Sensor & Battery

The decisive specification is the motion sensor function combined with the 1200mAh battery capacity. This allows touchless operation while wearing gloves and provides 3 to 8 hours of runtime depending on the selected mode. A full recharge via the included USB-C cable takes 2 hours. The wide 230° beam angle eliminates the need to turn your head for peripheral illumination.

Outdoor Users Needing Hands-Free Light

This headlamp suits campers, hikers, runners, and repair workers who need broad, hands-free illumination with glove-friendly sensor control. It is not suited for buyers who require a longer maximum throw distance beyond 100ft or extended runtimes exceeding 8 hours without carrying a spare unit. Users needing submersion-rated waterproofing beyond IPX4 splash protection should look elsewhere.
