Development board with a 2.13-inch E-Ink display, nRF52840 processor, SX1262 LoRa at 862930 MHz, L76K GPS, BLE 5, USB-C, solar charging and Grove expansion
The Meshnology Wio Tracker L1 is a development board built around a 2.13 inch E-ink screen that draws minimal current while keeping information visible. It comes preloaded with Meshtastic firmware so developers and hobbyists can join a LoRa mesh network immediately. The nRF52840 processor handles wireless tasks and application logic in a single package.
The board runs from a rechargeable lithium-ion cell, a USB Type-C supply or a solar panel input, letting it operate indefinitely in remote locations. Because the E-ink display only consumes energy during updates and the radio sleeps between packets, the assembly stays cool and silent without any active cooling. Typical current draw remains in the low milliampere range during idle periods.
Two rows of PTH pins and an SWD debug header give direct access to the processor for custom firmware or external circuitry. Grove-compatible connectors allow plug-and-play addition of temperature, humidity or pressure sensors without soldering. The integrated L76K GNSS module and SX1262 LoRa transceiver operating at 862930 MHz provide location and long-range data links in one compact footprint.

Plug Grove-compatible sensors directly into the onboard Grove connectors; the board also exposes PTH pads and an SWD debug interface for custom hardware expansions.
It accepts USB Type-C charging, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and solar input, allowing flexible outdoor or mobile deployments.
The SX1262 LoRa module operates at 862930 MHz; actual range depends on antenna, terrain and duty cycle rather than a fixed distance.
