Questions about this item

How do I confirm the pinpointer is detecting correctly after turning it on?

Power the unit on and pass a small metal object such as a coin within 15 cm of the tip; the vibration and audio alerts will activate immediately if the detector is working.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package includes the waterproof pinpointer itself; you will need to provide batteries or a rechargeable power source as none are supplied.

Which detection range suits shallow-water versus deeper dives?

The 360° scanning tip covers targets up to 15 cm away in all directions, and the IP68 rating allows continuous use down to 70 feet underwater.
