Authentic Boeing AH-64 Apache Steel Model

This officially licensed Metal Earth kit reproduces the twin-engine attack helicopter that entered US Army service in 1984. The moderate-difficulty set contains 48 precision-etched steel parts and a display stand, assembling to approximately L-4.8 W-4.8 H-2.17 inches without glue or paint.

Parts and Display Stand

The 48 stainless-steel sheets fold and tab together to create a detailed exterior with no openings, while the included stand lets you showcase the finished helicopter on a shelf or desk. Tweezers or similar tools are recommended to handle the small components during assembly.

Suits Adult Collectors and Hobbyists

This kit appeals to enthusiasts who enjoy hands-on metal modelling and military aviation history. Builders seeking movable parts, interior detail, motorised functions or a quick snap-together experience should consider other model types.

Questions about this item

Will I need to replace the steel sheets or fasteners once the 48 parts are assembled?

The kit contains 48 precision-cut steel pieces that form the finished model; no additional sheets or fasteners are required after assembly.

What dimensional limit defines the display footprint of the completed Apache?

Assembled size is approximately 4.8 inches long, 4.8 inches wide and 2.17 inches high, so shelf depth of at least 4.8 inches is the first constraint.

Does the model generate any heat or noise when left on display all day?

It is a static steel display piece with no moving parts, electronics or power source, so it produces zero heat and zero noise.
