#10-24 thread rivet nuts for thin materials

These aluminium alloy inserts create load-bearing threads in metal, wood or plastic sheets that are too thin to tap. The knurled body and flat head resist rotation once installed, making them suitable for furniture assembly, equipment enclosures and light industrial fabrication. Supplied as a pack of 50 pieces.

Anodic oxidation finish and knurled body

The silver-toned coating provides corrosion resistance and surface hardness without adding a separate plating step. Knurling on the shank bites into the drilled hole during installation, preventing spin-out under vibration or repeated fastener removal. No additional lock washers or adhesives are required.

7 mm drill hole and hand or pneumatic tool install

Each nut requires a 7 mm (0.28 in) clearance hole and is set by pulling the mandrel with a hand or pneumatic rivet tool, deforming the tail into the knurled grooves for a permanent lock. The installed length is 13 mm (0.51 in) with a 10 mm (0.39 in) head diameter, leaving a low-profile flush surface. Installers without rivet-tool access cannot use these inserts.
