Metapen Pencil A8 for iPad 2018–2026

The Metapen Pencil A8 is a capacitive stylus built for Apple iPad models released between 2018 and 2026. It suits students, note-takers and illustrators who want a responsive pen for compatible iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad Mini generations. The grey finish matches several iPad colours. Buyers using iPhones, Android tablets, Windows devices or iPads released before 2018 cannot use this stylus.

0.1 mm pixel precision without pressure sensitivity

The upgraded smart chip delivers 0.1 mm accuracy with no perceptible lag or break-points, letting you write small text and draw fine lines. The stylus does not support pressure sensitivity, so line weight cannot be varied by pressing harder. This limitation matters for artists who rely on pressure-controlled brushes in professional illustration apps.

USB-C charge in 30 minutes with auto sleep

A full charge takes 30 minutes over USB-C and provides up to 10 hours of active use; a one-minute top-up yields roughly 50 minutes of work. The LED indicator shows battery status and the pen powers down automatically after five minutes of inactivity. No pairing or driver installation is required — simply tap the capacitive tip to the screen and start writing.
