Direct-fit side-post battery disconnect
The Meterk Am-CBS01C installs directly on GM-style side-post batteries using the two supplied SAE 3/8"-16 bolts. No extra cables or lugs are required. It suits cars, RVs, boats and other DC 12-48 V electrical systems where a simple on/off isolator is needed.
Current capacity and headroom
The switch carries 275 A continuously at 12 V, handles 455 A intermittently and survives a 1250 A momentary surge. It is not intended for loads that exceed these ratings or for AC mains applications.
Thermals noise and power draw
The ABS plastic housing contains no moving parts that generate noise, and the push-button mechanism draws no power in either position. Normal operation adds no measurable heat or parasitic draw to the system.

Questions about this item
Will the 275 A continuous rating handle the starter draw on my older GM side-post battery without overheating?
The switch is rated for 275 A continuous, 455 A intermittent and 1250 A momentary at 12 V, so it can handle typical starter surges on a GM side-post battery.
How can I verify the push-button mechanism is making a solid connection after I bolt it to the 3/8"-16 posts?
With the button in the ON position, measure voltage across the switch terminals; you should see full battery voltage with negligible drop, confirming the contacts are closed.
Does the package include the 17 mm negative top-post adapter and the two SAE bolts, or must I source them separately?
The box contains the battery switch, the 17 mm cone negative top-post adapter and the two SAE 3/8"-16 bolts needed for direct fit on a GM side-post battery.
