Genie Garage Keypad Since 1995

This wireless keypad replaces Genie and Overhead Door garage door opener keypads manufactured since 1995. It works with Intellicode rolling-code openers and supports models GK-R, GK-BX, GWKPD-BL, OKP-BX, GWK-IC, GWKP, ACSDA1, ACSDG, ACSD1G, B8QACSDA1 and B8QACSDA. It is not compatible with dip-switch openers.

Rolling Code Security Upgrade

The keypad uses rolling-code technology that generates a new access code with every use, preventing code grabbing. It replaces older fixed-code or lost remotes and adds a 3-to-8-digit PIN plus a temporary PIN option for service visitors. The jump is worth it when the original keypad has failed or when keyless entry is preferred over carrying a remote.

Wireless Mount With Pre-Installed Batteries

Installation requires no wiring; the unit mounts on any wall surface using the included screws. Two AAA batteries are pre-installed and step-by-step instructions are provided. Common issues include attempting to pair with dip-switch openers, which are not supported, and forgetting to clear the opener memory before programming the new PIN.
