Fingerprint Keyless Door Lock

The Meterk KS02A is a biometric deadbolt designed for out-opening, narrow-stile storefront doors. It recognises up to 20 fingerprints with an on-device AI chip that unlocks in .2 seconds at 99.99% accuracy and refines recognition with every use. The unit also accepts 20 passwords and two mechanical keys for flexible keyless entry.

Thermals Noise Power

The lock operates on batteries and consumes power only during authentication and motor actuation, so normal use adds no continuous heat or audible fan noise to the doorway. An auto-lock timer engages 10 to 99 seconds after opening, while a one-touch button or interior knob provides instant manual locking without extra draw. Anti-cracking logic disables the keypad for 3 minutes after 10 failed attempts.

Bundled Accessories Software

The package includes the lock body, two physical keys and mounting hardware for a single-door installation on compatible narrow-stile frames. One-time guest codes are created at the keypad and auto-delete after use, while the anti-peeping function lets users pad the real PIN with random digits. Passage mode disables auto-lock entirely when constant access is needed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the KS02A on a narrow-stile storefront door and what step is often missed?

Fit the 2.71 in x 1.2 in x 5.47 in body to the out-opening door, run the wiring through the stile, then enable the auto-lock timer (10-99 seconds); skipping the timer setup leaves the door unlocked.

What maintenance or replacement will the KS02A need over time?

Replace the four AA batteries when the low-power indicator sounds; the mechanical keyway and fingerprint sensor require only occasional cleaning with a dry cloth.

What limit appears first during heavy daily use of the KS02A?

After 10 consecutive failed code entries the keypad locks for 3 minutes, and the 20-fingerprint or 21-pin capacity caps the number of unique users.
