Wireless remote control outlet

The Meterk RWLS002 is a plug-in safety switch that lets users operate garbage disposals, lighting and small appliances without any wiring. It is aimed at households and light commercial spaces where adding a wall switch would be impractical.

300 ft RF range through walls

The radio signal covers up to 300 ft and penetrates walls and doors for reliable operation across larger rooms or floors. The unit is rated for 15 A at 1500 W and carries UL, CSA, CE and RoHS certifications for electrical safety.

Detachable wall-mount design

The switch separates into a base and a handheld remote that can be mounted with supplied tape or screws and removed for portable use. This arrangement suits elderly, pregnant or mobility-limited users who need flexible control.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 15 A model or a different amperage version?

This unit is rated for 15 amps and 1500 watts at 12 volts, so select it when your appliance draws up to that limit; no other amperage options are offered for this part number.

What does the 300 ft range mean once the switch is installed in my house?

The 300 ft RF signal penetrates walls and doors, letting you control the connected load from anywhere within that radius — ideal for larger rooms, basements or detached garages.

Is the wireless link Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or another standard, and what does it cap?

It uses a proprietary RF link operating at 300 ft; the standard caps the control distance and penetration, not data speed or network integration.
