5-in-1 Keyless Entry for Front Doors

The Meterk smart deadbolt replaces a traditional cylinder with five unlock methods: app control, fingerprint, PIN codes, mechanical keys and fob cards. It suits out-opening and narrow-stile storefront doors and fits a 2.65x1.82x6.12 in cutout. Voice commands work through Alexa or Google Assistant when a separate WiFi gateway is added. The IP54-rated metal body resists weather on exterior entries.

Bluetooth App Management

Built-in Bluetooth links the lock to the Smart Life app on Android or iOS for user management, access logs, real-time notifications and flexible password options including anti-peep, time-limited, one-time and custom codes. Auto-locking, safe mode, silent mode and passage mode adjust behaviour for different situations. A 12 V supply powers the electronics and the fingerprint reader unlocks in 0.3 seconds.

Simple Retrofit Installation

The deadbolt mounts with standard tools and requires no wiring beyond the 12 V connection, leaving existing door prep intact. Battery operation keeps the lock working during power outages while the app provides low-battery alerts. Mechanical keys and fob cards remain as fallbacks when phones or fingerprints are unavailable. The compact 2.65x1.82x6.12 in form factor fits narrow stiles without modification.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Meterk smart deadbolt on my narrow stile storefront door, and what step do people often miss?

The lock fits out-opening narrow stile doors with dimensions 2.65 x 1.82 x 6.12 in. Installers often forget to align the deadbolt throw with the strike plate before tightening the mounting screws, causing binding.

What maintenance will the fingerprint reader and battery need over time?

Clean the fingerprint sensor with a dry cloth when recognition slows. Replace the 12 V power source when the app shows low-battery alerts or auto-locking becomes unreliable.

What is the first limit I will hit if the lock sees heavy daily traffic?

The IP54 weatherproof rating protects against splashes but not sustained direct rain; prolonged exposure can degrade the touchscreen and fingerprint reader before the mechanical parts wear.
