Smart Fingerprint Door Lock with Handle

This Meterk BA2L smart lock combines a fingerprint reader, touchscreen keypad, and mechanical handle into a single black metal unit. It fits out-opening, narrow-stile storefront doors and installs on left or right-handed doors without extra drilling in about 15 minutes. The package includes three IC cards and two backup keys for immediate setup.

Upgrade from Key-Only Deadbolts

The lock replaces a traditional cylinder deadbolt by adding five electronic entry methods: fingerprint, passcode, IC card, mobile app, and web portal. Auto-lock timing is adjustable from 5 to 900 seconds via the app, and one-touch locking activates with a two-second press of the hash key. The jump is worth it when you need to manage access for many users without physical key distribution.

Suits Property Managers and Multi-User Sites

The system stores up to 50 fingerprints, 250-plus user codes, and 1,000-plus IC cards, making it practical for apartments, hotels, offices, and short-term rentals. Remote unlock and voice control require a separately sold gateway. Buyers who want a completely offline lock with no app dependency, or who need mortise-style fitment for thick wooden doors, should look at a different product.

Questions about this item

What door thickness and stile width does the BA2L lock handle set fit?

The lock fits out-opening, narrow-stile store-front doors; no extra drilling is required and it works on left- or right-handed doors.

How do I pair the lock with the app and what step is often missed?

Register each fingerprint five times from different angles, then add users via the app; the gateway for remote access is sold separately.

Which parts will need replacement over time and how many codes can be stored?

The lock stores up to 50 fingerprints, 250 user codes and 1000 IC cards; mechanical components such as the deadbolt and handle may eventually need service.
