Electronic Deadbolt Kit for Out-Opening Doors

The Meterk VXT0807341319352LB is a wireless electronic deadbolt lock kit finished in black. It measures 9.06 in by 6.7 in by 2.56 in and is built from stainless steel for durability. The system suits out-opening, narrow-stile and store-front doors where a keyless entry solution is required.

Suits Remote Access; Not for Hands-Free Auto-Locking

This lock serves users who want to unlock a door from up to 20 m away using one of the four supplied 12 V 27 A remotes. A mechanical key override is also provided. Buyers who need a lock that automatically throws the bolt without pressing a button should look elsewhere, as the unit has no automatic locking function.

Remote Range Decides Fit

The radio link works at 0-20 m in open space, so the distance between the mounting position and the point where the remote is used determines whether this kit is practical. A low-voltage alarm sounds at 4.6 V, giving roughly one month of further operation before a battery change becomes essential.

Questions about this item

How long will the 12 V 27 A batteries last with the lock running all day?

The main battery can be used normally for about 1 year. When voltage drops below 4.6 V the lock sounds 5 beeps and will still operate for about a month.

What door preparation must I already have for this 9.06 x 6.7 x 2.56 in deadbolt to fit?

The lock fits out-opening, narrow-stile storefront doors and includes a base plate for easier, stable installation on either left or right side.

Will the remote still work if I keep an older mechanical key cylinder on the same door?

Yes, the lock offers two unlock modes — remote control from 0-20 m in open space and a physical key — so the existing cylinder can remain as a backup.
