Universal 11 mm stem fit

These Metra casters replace standard office chair wheels using an 11 mm diameter stem. The set of five upgrades any compatible task or gaming seat without tools in roughly two minutes. Buyers with chairs that use a different stem size or brand-specific mounting will need alternative hardware.

Protects floors and frees movement

Dual polyurethane wheels roll quietly on hardwood, carpet, tile and laminate while preventing scratches. Each caster swivels 360° on four precision bearings so the chair glides smoothly in any direction. The steel housing supports a combined load of 200 kg across the set.

Ready-to-use hardware kit

The package supplies five black casters and a single instruction sheet so installation begins immediately. No extra fasteners, lubricants or software are included. The one-year replacement guarantee covers defects but does not extend to chairs with non-standard stems such as certain IKEA models.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the set of five casters support before they reach their load limit?

The five-wheel set is rated for a maximum load capacity of 200kg, which is the combined limit for all casters under sustained use.

Do the casters stay quiet and cool when rolling all day on hard floors?

The dual polyurethane wheels with four precision bearings are designed for smooth, quiet gliding and do not generate noticeable heat during continuous operation.

What stem size must my chair already have for these casters to fit?

Your chair needs a 11mm diameter stem that is 22mm long; the casters will not fit chairs with a different stem size such as IKEA models.
