Metra 2" PU Swivel Plate Casters

A set of four black polyurethane swivel casters with plate mounting. Each wheel supports 150 pounds for a combined capacity of 450 pounds. The double ball-bearing design and double brakes lock both wheel rotation and swivel motion. Supplied with sixteen iron screws, sixteen washers and a screwdriver for immediate installation.

150 lb per wheel load rating

The critical figure is the 150 pound per caster rating, giving 450 pounds total across the set. This determines whether the casters suit your trolley, workbench or shelving unit. Double brakes secure both the wheel and the swivel plate simultaneously. Polyurethane wheels run quietly on hard floors.

Included hardware changes the install

Sixteen screws and washers plus a screwdriver mean no separate fastener purchase is needed. The plate-mount pattern fits standard wood or metal frames. Wheels are suited to indoor and outdoor use on workshop carts, kitchen islands, garage shelving and office furniture.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 450 lb total capacity actually support on a loaded trolley?

What does the double brake on the top-plate swivel casters lock?

The double brake locks both the wheel rotation and the swivel of the top plate, holding the trolley or workbench firmly in place.

What mounting hardware is needed to fit the plate-mount casters to a workbench?

The box includes 16 iron screws and 16 washers plus a screwdriver, so you can bolt the top plates directly to the bench.
