It also adds AirPlay for iOS and Mirror Link for Android so video apps can be cast to the car display. The compact black unit plugs directly into the existing USB port and draws power from the vehicle without an external supply.

Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi for stable pairing

The adapter uses Bluetooth 5.0 for the initial handshake and a 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi channel for the high-bandwidth video stream. A 2.4 GHz band is also available for environments where the higher frequency is congested. This combination keeps latency low enough for navigation prompts and voice control to feel instantaneous.

The adapter comfortably handles wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, map navigation, music streaming and non-protected video playback from a phone. It runs out of capability when the content is protected by HDCP, so subscription services such as Netflix or Disney+ will not mirror.
