Black conductive rubber replacement mast fits most GM, Ford, Chrysler and Japanese-thread vehicles
The Metra 44-RM1R is a 14" black conductive rubber mast designed to replace worn or damaged antenna masts on a wide range of vehicles. It fits most GM, Ford and Chrysler models as well as vehicles using Japanese threads. The mast is sold individually as a direct replacement component.
This mast replaces a broken, bent or corroded original antenna mast that no longer extends or retracts cleanly. The jump is worth it when the existing mast shows physical damage or signal degradation caused by deteriorated conductive rubber. It restores factory antenna function without replacing the entire power antenna assembly.
This part suits owners of compatible GM, Ford, Chrysler or Japanese-thread vehicles needing a single replacement mast. Buyers whose vehicles use a different thread pattern or mast length should look at something else. Installers requiring a complete motorised antenna kit rather than the mast alone will need a different product.
