Speaker Adapter for Corvette 2005-2013

This Metra 82-3014 adapter pair fits 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette front speaker locations. It accepts 6" to 6.75" aftermarket speakers without modifying the factory openings. The black finish matches interior trim and the pair covers both front positions. Installation uses the original mounting points.

Check Factory Speaker Size and Wiring

Verify the Corvette front openings measure within the 6" to 6.75" range before ordering. Confirm the factory speaker harness reaches the adapter terminals without extension. Ensure the mounting depth behind the door panel clears the new speaker magnet and basket. The adapter is designed for front locations only.

Pair Packaging Simplifies Front Installation

Supplied as a matched pair, the adapters cover both front speaker positions in one purchase. No additional brackets or harnesses are included, so reuse the factory screws and connector. The moulded design aligns with the original bolt pattern for a direct fit. Rear speaker locations are not addressed by this kit.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need any extra hardware to mount 6" to 6.75" speakers in my 2005-2013 Corvette?

The package contains a pair of black adapters that fit the front speaker locations; no additional brackets are included, so reuse the factory screws or supply your own.

Should I choose a different adapter if my replacement speakers are smaller than 6 inches or larger than 6.75 inches?

These adapters only cover the 6" to 6.75" range; speakers outside that span will not align with the mounting holes.

Will these adapters line up with the original bolt pattern in the front doors of a 2005-2013 Corvette without modification?

Yes, they are shaped for the factory front openings in those model years, so the stock bolt pattern matches directly.
