METRA 82-7403 Speaker Adapter Nissan 2004-2020 Pair

Dash Tweeter Adapter Pair

The Metra 82-7403 kit provides two mounting adapters that let you fit aftermarket tweeters into the factory dash locations of compatible Nissan vehicles. It is intended for owners upgrading their front sound stage without cutting or modifying the original trim panels. The pair covers both left and right tweeter positions in a single purchase.

Factory Mounting Constraints

Each adapter is shaped to match the original dash opening so the tweeter sits flush with the surrounding dashboard. The plastic bracket cannot be enlarged, so tweeters with a larger mounting footprint will not fit. No wiring harness or connector is included, so the installer must splice or crimp the speaker leads to the vehicle loom.

Straightforward Press-Fit Install

The adapters snap into the existing dash apertures using the factory retention points, requiring only basic hand tools to remove the trim panels first. The most common issue is a tweeter magnet or frame that exceeds the adapter's internal depth, preventing the grille from seating properly. Verifying the tweeter's overall diameter and mounting depth before purchase avoids a return trip to the dash.
