Questions about this item

Will the ABS speaker adapter plates need replacing after long exposure to sun and road salt?

The plates passed a 1000 hour torture test, 500 hour salt-spray test and 500 hour UV-A test, so they are built to withstand extended sun and salt exposure.

What power level will the kit's harnesses and crossover handle before clipping?

The kit is rated for 80 watts RMS and 160 watts peak power handling with a 6 dB passive crossover.

How much heat or noise does the kit add when the speakers run all day?

The adapter plates and harnesses are passive components; they generate no heat or noise themselves, and the IPX5 rating confirms water-jet resistance during long drives.
