Double-DIN dash kit for Mercury and Ford

The Metra 95-5806 is a dash installation accessory designed for Mercury Cougar models from 1999 to 2002 and Ford Focus models from 2000 to 2004. It provides the mounting framework required to fit a double-DIN aftermarket stereo into the factory dashboard opening. A comprehensive instruction manual is included to guide the installation process.

Replaces the factory single-DIN opening

This kit upgrades the dashboard from a single-DIN aperture to a double-DIN aperture, allowing the installation of taller head units with larger displays or additional features. The jump is worthwhile when the original radio cavity is too short for the desired replacement stereo. It is not for vehicles outside the listed model years or for buyers who want to retain the original single-DIN radio.
