Vehicle Fitment

This dash installation kit fits Lincoln Navigator 4x2 models produced between 2007 and 2014 that were built without factory navigation. It provides a dedicated ISO DDIN opening for an aftermarket radio while preserving the original dashboard layout.

Installation Scope

The kit includes the radio trim panel and mounting brackets required for the conversion. Buyers who need a wiring harness or antenna adapter must source those components separately. Vehicles equipped with factory navigation or four-wheel drive are not supported by this kit.

Radio Provision

The single specification that determines compatibility is the ISO DDIN radio provision, which accepts standard double-DIN aftermarket head units. Verify that the replacement radio conforms to this format before purchase.

Questions about this item

What size opening does the Metra 95-5844S dash kit provide for the aftermarket radio?

The kit includes an ISO DDIN radio provision, which is the standard double-DIN opening required for most aftermarket stereos.

Which step is most often missed when installing the Metra 95-5844S kit in a 2007-2014 Lincoln Navigator 4x2?

Many installers forget to remove the factory navigation components first; this kit is only for vehicles without factory navigation, so that hardware must come out before the new trim panel and brackets can be fitted.

What additional parts will be needed later to keep the radio installation working properly?

A vehicle-specific wiring harness interface and the 40-CR10 antenna adapter are sold separately and will be required to complete the electrical and signal connections.
