Vehicle-specific dash kit

The Metra 95-7636B is a double-DIN installation kit built for select 2018 and newer Nissan Kicks models. It provides an ISO radio opening so an aftermarket stereo fits the factory dash aperture without custom fabrication. High-grade ABS plastic with a fine texture matches the interior finish and resists cracking under temperature swings. The painted matte black surface reduces glare and keeps the cabin looking stock.

Sustained fit and finish

The ABS construction holds its shape during long periods of vibration and cabin heat, keeping the stereo securely mounted without rattles. Matte paint resists fading and fingerprints better than gloss alternatives through daily exposure to sunlight. An integrated pocket below the radio opening stays rigid when used for small items, adding practical storage without flexing. Brackets included with the kit maintain alignment through repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Replaces factory trim panel

This kit swaps directly for the original dash bezel when moving from the OEM head unit to any standard ISO double-DIN receiver. The upgrade is worthwhile when the factory screen lacks modern connectivity such as smartphone mirroring or when the original unit fails. It is not suited for vehicles outside the specified Kicks range or for single-DIN installations that require a different mounting footprint.

Questions about this item

Does the matte-black ABS kit add noticeable heat or noise when the stereo runs all day?

The high-grade ABS plastic construction and factory-style texture are passive trim pieces; they generate no heat or noise of their own.

What factory parts must already be in the 2018-Up Nissan Kicks for this 95-7636B kit to install an ISO double-DIN radio?

The vehicle must retain its original dashboard opening and wiring harness so the included brackets can mount the new head unit.

Will the integrated pocket below the radio still fit if I keep the original climate controls and steering-wheel buttons?

Yes, the kit is designed for select 2018-Up Kicks models and preserves the factory layout, leaving the pocket accessible beneath the new stereo.
