Vehicle-Specific Dash Kit

The Metra 95-8155 is a double DIN installation kit engineered for 1997 to 2001 Lexus ES vehicles. It allows owners to replace the factory single DIN radio with a modern double DIN or dual ISO mount head unit. The kit is moulded from OEM-quality ABS plastic for a precise fit.

Upgrading From Factory Single DIN

This kit replaces the original dashboard opening that only accepts a standard single DIN stereo. The upgrade is worth it when you want a larger touchscreen, integrated navigation or smartphone mirroring features that require a double DIN chassis. It eliminates the gaps and misalignment common with generic universal brackets.

Fitment And Clearance Limits

The kit accommodates one double DIN radio or two ISO mount units within the Lexus ES dashboard aperture for model years 97 through 01. It does not support vehicles outside this range or single DIN only replacements. Installers must verify the specific head unit depth clears the factory HVAC controls and wiring harnesses behind the dash.
