Vehicle Integration

The Metra 95-8731 dash kit enables installation of a double-DIN aftermarket stereo into 2019-up Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans that lack the factory touchscreen. Its precision-moulded design ensures a gapless fit against the original dashboard panels.

Factory Appearance

High-grade ABS construction with a polished gloss black finish replicates the factory texture and colour, maintaining the cabin's original look after the stereo swap. The kit mounts securely without visible gaps or misaligned trim edges.

Compatibility Constraint

This kit fits 2019-up Sprinter models only when the vehicle was not equipped with a factory touchscreen radio. Buyers with the OEM touchscreen system cannot use this installation kit.

Questions about this item

Does the gloss-black ABS plastic of the 95-8731 kit warp or rattle after long days in a hot Sprinter cab?

High-grade ABS construction and precision tolerances give a gapless, factory-texture fit that resists heat-related warping or vibration noise.

What factory feature must my 2019-up Sprinter already lack for this 95-8731 dash kit to install correctly?

The kit fits only Sprinter models without the factory touchscreen radio; vehicles equipped with that screen are not compatible.

Will the ISO double-DIN opening in the 95-8731 accept the older single-DIN head unit I want to keep?

No, the provision is sized for ISO double-DIN (4" tall) radios only; a single-DIN unit will not fit without a separate adapter.
