Vehicle-specific dash kit

The Metra 99-2003 is a multi-kit designed for GM and Suzuki vehicles produced between 1995 and 2008. It enables the installation of an aftermarket radio into the factory dashboard opening without custom fabrication.

Flexible radio mounting options

The kit includes patented ISO quick-release brackets that support a single DIN radio with a storage pocket, an ISO DIN radio with a pocket, a double-DIN unit, or two ISO DIN units stacked. All necessary hardware and a comprehensive manual are supplied for a straightforward installation.

Durable factory-match construction

Moulded to match the original dashboard texture and colour, the kit maintains a consistent interior appearance over time. The recessed pocket design protects the mounted radio from accidental impacts while keeping controls accessible during daily driving.

Questions about this item

What size DIN opening does the Metra 99-2003 kit fill in a 1995-2008 GM or Suzuki dashboard?

The kit fits a double-DIN opening and includes brackets that also allow a single DIN or ISO DIN radio to be mounted with a pocket below it.

Which brackets secure the head unit in the Metra 99-2003, and what step do installers often skip?

The patented ISO quick-release brackets hold the radio; the step often missed is sliding the brackets onto the radio chassis before fitting the assembly into the dash pocket.

If the ISO quick-release brackets on the Metra 99-2003 wear out, what replacement part is needed?

Replacement Metra ISO quick-release brackets are required; they are sold separately and swap into the existing pocket without changing the dash trim.
