Vehicle fitment

The METRA 99-7012 installation kit is designed for 2004 and newer Mitsubishi Galant models. It enables the fitment of a double-DIN head unit or two single-DIN units in the factory dashboard opening. The kit includes a custom trim ring, ISO snap-in mounting brackets, a storage pocket and all necessary hardware and instructions for a complete installation. Builders replacing the original radio in a compatible Galant will find the required components in one package.

Build integration

The kit is moulded from high-grade ABS plastic in black to match the interior. It provides the mounting structure and trim that the factory opening lacks, freeing the installer from fabricating custom brackets or modifying the dash. The ISO snap-in system secures the aftermarket radio without additional adapter frames. The included storage pocket fills the lower cavity when a single-DIN unit is used. Installers working on other vehicle models or requiring a different DIN configuration will need a different kit.
