Fitment and Alternatives

This accessory suits owners replacing the factory stereo in a compatible Maxima who want a factory look. Builders needing a double-DIN opening or a finish that matches brushed aluminum trim should look at other options.

ISO DIN Provision with Pocket

The single specification that decides fitment is the ISO DIN radio provision with pocket. It accepts only single-DIN head units and will not accommodate larger chassis sizes.

Questions about this item

What does the ISO DIN radio provision with pocket mean for my Nissan Maxima dashboard?

The kit provides a standard ISO DIN opening with a built-in pocket so a single-DIN aftermarket stereo can be installed while retaining a storage space in the factory dash location.

Which wiring harness and antenna adapter are required to complete the installation?

The 70-7550 wiring harness and the 40-NI11 antenna adapter are sold separately and must be purchased to connect the new radio to the vehicle wiring and antenna.

How does the painted silver finish match the interior of the 04-06 Maxima?

The dash kit is painted silver to match the factory dashboard colour; however it will not match models that originally came with a brushed aluminium trim.
