Nissan Installation Kit

The METRA 99-7613 is a dash installation kit designed for 2007 and newer Nissan vehicles. It allows owners to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit. The kit supports both single-DIN and double-DIN radio formats. Professional installers and DIY enthusiasts can use it to integrate modern audio systems cleanly.

ISO Pocket and Double-DIN Support

The package includes an ISO single-DIN radio provision with a built-in pocket for smaller units. It also provides a double-DIN radio provision for larger touchscreen receivers. These provisions let the installer choose the mounting style that matches the chosen head unit. No additional trim pieces are required for either configuration.

2007-and-Up Nissan Compatibility

This kit is engineered specifically for Nissan models from 2007 onward. It matches the factory dashboard contours and mounting points for those model years. Vehicles outside that range will not align with the supplied brackets. Buyers should verify their exact vehicle year before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 99-7613 kit include any moving parts that will wear out and need replacement?

No, the 99-7613 is a static installation kit with brackets, a pocket and trim; it has no moving parts or consumables that require periodic replacement.

What physical constraint of the 99-7613 becomes the limiting factor when fitting a double-DIN head unit?

The dashboard opening in 2007-and-up Nissan vehicles sets the maximum chassis size, and the kit simply adapts that opening to accept a standard double-DIN radio.

After the 99-7613 is installed and the stereo runs all day, does the kit itself generate any noise, heat or extra power draw?

The kit is a passive plastic and metal frame; it adds no electrical load, produces no heat and creates no noise once the radio is mounted.
