Vehicle-Specific Dash Kit

The Metra 99-7866 is a single-DIN radio installation kit designed exclusively for the Acura MDX model years 2001 through 2006. It allows owners to replace the factory stereo with an aftermarket head unit while retaining the original dashboard appearance.

Patented Snap-In Mounting

High-grade ABS plastic construction features a factory-machined texture that matches the OEM dash surface. The patented Snap-In ISO Support System secures the radio without separate brackets, and a recessed opening positions the head unit flush for a clean, integrated look.

Factory Radio Replacement

This kit replaces the original Acura MDX stereo cavity and includes a storage pocket for single-DIN installations. The upgrade is worthwhile when the factory head unit has failed or lacks modern connectivity, providing a direct fit that avoids custom fabrication or unsightly gaps.
