  • Painted black to match factory dash

Vehicle Compatibility

This mounting kit is built for the 2009-Up Honda Fit and provides a factory-matched black finish. It supports single-DIN, double-DIN and stacked ISO radio configurations with integrated pockets. The kit includes provisions for up to five different radio mounting styles.

Installer Fit

Professional installers and DIY owners replacing the factory stereo in a compatible Honda Fit will find the correct dash profile and pocket options included. Buyers working on other vehicle makes, earlier Fit model years or non-Honda platforms should look at a different kit designed for their specific dash.

Questions about this item

Will the 70-1729 wiring harness or 40-HD10 antenna adapter need replacing later?

The kit lists the 70-1729 wiring harness and 40-HD10 antenna adapter as compatible parts; they are separate components and would only need replacement if damaged or if the vehicle wiring changes.

What is the first fitment limit when installing a double-DIN radio in a 2009-Up Honda Fit?

The kit provides a double-DIN radio provision, so the first limit is the dashboard opening size designed for the 2009-Up Honda Fit; no larger unit will fit without modification.

Does the painted black dash kit create extra heat or noise during all-day use?

The painted black dash kit is a passive plastic trim piece with no electronics, fans or power draw, so it adds no heat or noise during continuous operation.
