Vehicle Fitment

The Metra 99-8722B dash kit fits select Mercedes-Benz C-Class models from 2001 to 2004, CLK and CLK55 AMG models from 2003 to 2004, CLK500 models from 2003 to 2004, the CLK from 2004 and G-Class models from 2002 to 2006. It provides an ISO Single DIN radio opening with a storage pocket. Builders working on vehicles outside this range cannot use this kit.

Installation Hardware

The package includes one radio housing trim panel, two brackets, one pocket, eight #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws and one instruction sheet. A panel removal tool, Phillips screwdriver, socket wrench and Torx driver are required but sold separately. The matte black finish matches the factory interior colour of the listed vehicles.

Missing Tools

Without the four specified hand tools the installer cannot remove the original dashboard panels or secure the new brackets. Shops that do not stock Torx drivers or panel tools must source them before starting the job. The kit supplies no wiring harness or antenna adapter, so those must be purchased separately for a complete installation.
