Vehicle Fitment

This dash kit is engineered for 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent models. It provides a Single DIN radio opening so you can install an aftermarket head unit while retaining a factory appearance.

Installation Check

Verify that your Ascent falls within the 2019-2022 model years before ordering. The kit accepts an ISO Single DIN chassis with pocket or stacked single DIN radios, so confirm your chosen stereo matches one of those mounting styles.

Long-Term Durability

High-grade ABS plastic construction resists warping and cracking under cabin temperature cycles. The high-gloss black finish matches the factory centre console texture and maintains its colour without fading during extended exposure to sunlight.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Metra 99-8911HG dash kit and do I need to buy a separate mounting bracket?

The kit includes the high-gloss black dash panel with an integrated pocket; the radio itself and any ISO mounting sleeve or trim ring required by the specific head unit are sold separately.

How do I choose between the different versions of this dash kit for my 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent?

The 99-8911HG is a single model finished in high-gloss black; there are no alternate colours or trim levels listed, so this is the only version to select.

What does the single DIN opening mean once the kit is installed in my Ascent?

It provides a standard single DIN radio aperture with a storage pocket directly below, allowing an aftermarket stereo to sit flush with the factory console texture.
