Cleaning Power and Scent

Metra Brillo Steel Wool Soap Pads combine abrasive steel wool with built-in lemon-scented soap for tackling heavy grease and grime. The four-count pack suits homeowners and grill enthusiasts who need a disposable pad for pots, pans and outdoor cooking surfaces. Iconic square edges reach into corners where round sponges cannot. An anti-rust formula helps the pad last through multiple scrubbing sessions.

Thermals Noise and Power

These pads require no electricity, produce no audible noise and generate no heat during use. Cleaning performance comes entirely from manual agitation and the soap-infused steel wool. There are no moving parts, fans or power draw to consider. The product is ready to work straight from the package.

Soap and Steel Wool Volume

Each pad contains 29% more soap and 8% more steel wool than competing soap pads, excluding Brillo Heavy Duty and S.O.S. Grill Mates. This increased volume extends the usable life of a single pad before it breaks down. Buyers who prefer a liquid detergent and separate scrubber will not need this format.

Questions about this item

How do you use the square Brillo pads to reach corners on a grill or pot?

Wet the pad, wear gloves, and press the bonded edges into the corner; the square shape and bonded edges hold the pad together so the steel wool reaches the angle without falling apart.

When will the lemon-scented soap in the pad run out and need a new one?

Each pad contains 29 % more soap than competing pads, so it lasts through many heavy-duty cleaning jobs before the soap is depleted and the pad must be replaced.

How long can you scrub continuously before the steel wool breaks down?

The bonded edges keep the medium-grade steel wool intact during sustained scrubbing; the pad wears evenly rather than shredding, so the limit is gradual soap loss, not sudden pad failure.
