Quick Interior Cleaning

Metra Car Cleaning Gel is a reusable putty designed to lift dust and debris from tight interior spaces such as vents, console gaps and cup holders. The blue compound is supplied as a two-pack, giving you a spare jar for home or office surfaces like keyboards. It suits drivers who want a fast, residue-free way to maintain a tidy cabin.

Thermals Noise and Power

The gel requires no electricity, batteries or compressed air, so it adds zero power draw and produces no noise during use. It remains stable when stored below 104°F and leaves no sticky film on panels or hands. Each jar weighs 0.397 kilograms and measures 2.62 by 2.62 by 2.1 inches, making it easy to keep in a glovebox or desk drawer.

Replaces and Upgrade Value

This product replaces disposable wipes, brushes and vacuum attachments that struggle with narrow crevices. The jump is worth it when you need a single tool that conforms to irregular shapes and can be reused until the gel darkens. It is not suited for buyers who need wet cleaning, stain removal or sanitising action on upholstery and carpets.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Metra Car Cleaning Gel and what step do people often get wrong?

Take the gel out of the jar, knead it a few times, press it lightly onto the dusty surface, then pull it up slowly to lift the dust. The step people get wrong is pressing too hard or moving too fast, which can leave residue.

What maintenance or replacement will the Metra Car Cleaning Gel need later?

Store the gel back in its jar below 104°F after each use. Replace it when the blue colour turns dark. Do not wash the gel with water.

What limit shows up first under sustained use of the Metra Car Cleaning Gel?

The gel darkens as it absorbs dust and debris. Once the colour turns dark it can no longer pick up dirt effectively and must be replaced.
