Car Interior Cleaning Gel

Metra Car Cleaning Gel is a reusable putty designed to lift dust and debris from vehicle interiors. The gel presses into vents, console gaps and cup holders to capture particles without leaving residue. Two jars in blue and purple provide enough material for multiple detailing sessions. Suitable for drivers who want a quick way to maintain a tidy cabin.

Reusable Until Colour Darkens

The gel can be used repeatedly until it turns a dark shade, at which point it should be discarded. Store each jar in a cool place below 104°F to preserve its tackiness. Do not wash the compound with water, as moisture degrades its cleaning ability. Knead before each use to refresh the surface.

Replaces Disposable Wipes and Brushes

This putty replaces single-use wipes and narrow brushes for tight crevices such as air vents and button surrounds. The jump is worth it when you regularly clean intricate interior surfaces and prefer a residue-free, reusable option. Not suited for buyers who need liquid cleaners for stains or disinfection.

Questions about this item

One jar is blue and the other purple — is there any difference in how I should use them?

Both jars are the same PULIDIKI cleaning gel; the colour is only cosmetic so you can use either one for vents, console gaps, cup holders or keyboards.

The gel weighs about 0.399 kg for the two-pack — what does that feel like when I press it into a vent or cup holder?

The combined weight fills both 2.62 × 2.62 × 2.1 in jars, giving enough pliable putty to press into tight crevices and lift dust without leaving residue on surfaces.

The instructions say keep it below 104 °F — what happens if the car interior gets hotter than that?

Storing the gel above 104 °F can cause it to soften excessively or degrade, so after each use return it to its jar and keep the jars in a cool place.
