Carrot-shaped produce brushes

This Metra set includes two orange-and-green brushes shaped like carrots. Each brush measures 3.90 in high with a 1.80 in diameter and .80 in bristle length. The ABS body and green nylon bristles handle everyday produce prep such as carrots and potatoes. Buyers who want a single multi-surface scrubber may prefer a different format.

Kitchen and household cleaning pair

The 2 pack format helps separate produce cleaning from other household tasks like stovetops, collars or shoes. A ribbed top surface provides extra grip for handheld scrubbing on small areas. The brushes need only water and a cleaning agent suited to the surface. Users who require a long handle for deep pots will not find one here.

Sustained scrubbing performance

Nylon bristles retain stiffness during repeated use on firm vegetables and kitchenware. The ABS body resists cracking when wet and does not absorb odours between tasks. Light weight of .091 kilograms keeps hand fatigue low during extended cleaning sessions. Very heavy baked-on residue may need a specialised scraper instead.

Questions about this item

How quickly do the .80 in nylon bristles wear down with daily vegetable scrubbing?

The .80 in green nylon bristles are fixed to an ABS body; normal produce prep will not flatten them quickly, but heavy abrasive use on pots or stovetops shortens their life.

Does the ABS body get slippery or too hot to hold when scrubbing under running hot water all day?

The ABS body stays cool and the ribbed top surface keeps grip secure even during long sessions under hot tap water.

What sink or storage space is needed to keep both 3.90 in high brushes upright?

Each brush is 3.90 in high and 1.80 in diameter, so a narrow cup or caddy at least 4 in tall holds the pair side by side.
