What it is

The Metra Cordless Air Duster is a rechargeable cleaning tool built around a 33000 RPM brushless motor. It replaces disposable compressed-air cans for anyone who wants a reusable way to clear dust from electronics, keyboards, camera gear and tight corners around the home or car.

Thermals noise and power

The unit weighs 232 grams and runs for 15 to 30 minutes per charge depending on the selected blowing force. A full recharge takes three hours via the fast-charging port and can be topped up from a car charger, power bank or laptop USB port.

Build fit

Two nozzles are included: a slender tip for deep recesses such as PC cases and a brush nozzle for textured surfaces like keyboards. The cordless 3.3 x 2 x 7 inch form factor removes the need for a trailing hose or external compressor, freeing up bench space and letting you clean on the move.

Questions about this item

How do I switch between the two smart start modes on the Metra cordless air duster?

Long-press the power button for momentary operation that stops when you release it, or double-press the same button for continuous running until you press it again. The indicator light confirms the mode is active.

Which parts of the cleaning kit will need replacement over time?

The rechargeable battery inside the unit will eventually lose capacity after repeated charge cycles. The two included nozzles — slender and brush — may wear or break with heavy use and can be swapped out individually.

How long can I run the duster at full 33000 RPM before the battery cuts out?

At maximum blowing force the runtime is about 15 minutes; using lower force extends it toward 30 minutes. Recharging through the fast-charging port takes roughly three hours.
