Professional fabric shaver for clothes and furniture

The Metra EasyLint Professional removes pills and lint from garments, bedding, sofas and other upholstery. A 5 W motor drives dual replaceable blades that trim fuzz without damaging the underlying fabric. It is designed for household use where a quick, mains-powered or battery-operated solution is preferred.

Dual power option and spare blades extend usable

The unit runs from the supplied AC adapter with no time limit or from four C-cell batteries for cordless convenience. Two extra blades are included in the box, and further replacements are available separately, so the shaver does not become disposable when the cutting edges dull.

Simple setup with a common snag

Plug the adapter into the DC port or insert the batteries, attach the lint cover and press the power button. The most frequent issue is forgetting to empty the lint container before it overflows, which can stall the motor until the compartment is cleared.

Questions about this item

How often do the 2-blade cartridges need replacing?

The shaver includes two spare blades; additional blades are sold separately so the unit can be used indefinitely by swapping cartridges when they dull.

What stops continuous mains operation?

The supplied AC adapter removes any time limit, so the only practical limit is the 5-watt motor’s thermal design.

How hot or loud does the 5 W motor get during all-day use?

The 5-watt DC motor runs cool and quiet enough for extended sessions; the soft-touch matte black housing stays comfortable to hold.
